The little girls blonde hair flowed in the wind as she began to start her swing. But before she swung she glanced over to her little sister, thinking “this is for you Rosie”. Her knees bent, her arms pulled back and she exploded. The ball flew for what almost felt like hours, but in all reality it was probably 20 seconds. She ran and ran around the bases so fast that before she knew it she was already to the dugout. Everyone was cheering, cars were honking and her team was patting her on the helmet. She had just won the game. A couple years later that same little girl was there but in a teenager’s body. Her long blonde hair flowed in the wind as she began to swing. She bent her knees waiting for the pitch. As it came she gripped the bat tighter and gave a furious smirk at the pitcher. But it didn’t feel right to her, it was as if something was wrong. It was like she knew something was gonna happen.
Autumn’s first day at her new school was going great. She could finally forget about her past and no one would bug her about it. That is until she recognized someone from her old school. A girl named Peyton was sitting there talking to all her friends. Autumn quickly turned away so that they wouldn’t have direct eye contact. Autumn looked around the room for an empty chair in the back. She put all of her hair in front of her face and walked quickly down the rows of chair. Thankfully everyone was minding their own business and didn’t look. But that didn’t matter because when the teacher started talking he introduced her.
“Everyone this is Autumn Smith, she is new here from Tampa Florida. Everyone looked back at Autumn and all she could remember was the look on Peyton’s face. It destroyed her inside.
“Mommy, it’s sprinkling!” A child cried joyfully from a nearby park bench. I looked up, feeling it hit my face gently. I let out a small laugh, watching the other people around me celebrate. “We’ve waited so long for this,” Leo spoke softly, without even looking at him I could hear him smile. “I guess the drought is over,” He paused for a second, looking back up the the cloudy sky. “Well, that is if this rain picks up and stays for a little while.” I nodded, watching the child jump off the bench into a small, newly formed puddle. I watched a sleek black jet speed through the sky. Military must be testing today, maybe it’s a good day for everyone then. I thought and I felt a slight smile tugging at the edges of my lips. “Time for work then. Let’s hope we make progress today.” Thinking of work put me in a slightly worse mood, but I tried my best not to show it.
My name is Clark Klyde. I was at school waiting for my mom to pick me up because I was kicked off of the bus for slapping the bus driver in the face. That’s when I saw this guy, he looked like he was in his mid 40’s and had a really weird vibe to him. So I thought the more I sit there the more I get creeped out, so I started to walk on the sidewalk. I was walking at a pretty fast pace until I saw the park and I thought let's go sit on the swings and wait for my mom to come. But that was until I heard the honk of a car come from behind me. I turned around, it was the creepy old guy. So I started running to the park, ‘cause in my mind he wasn’t going to kidnap me in a park full of people.

"Sweet" Carlos replies. So when they get to their spot joe gets out and puts all the decoys out and gets them ready for when it's sunrise. Joe gets in the boat and get everything ready in the boat. He needed to make sure that he has everything for this hunt or if he doesn't he thinks negative the whole time hunting. "Ok, I got my beer, gun, decoys, calls, and shotgun shells."joe says. "I should be alright don't think I'm forgetting anything. "
This place is also known for have lots of bald eagles. Then you have these two drunk rednecks trying to duck hunt. So they got to duck and 3 boxes of shells gone in the first hour. Then they got two more coming in. Joe yells,"get down"
Bill was just an ordinary duck. But unlike most ordinary ducks, a group of scientists took Bill from his home pond in order to perform experiments on him. After years of suffering, the experiments started to take effect on Bill. See, the scientists combined the preserved genes of some of the greatest minds to ever live on Earth, such as Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Leonardo da Vinci, and 2,000 Rick and Morty viewers, and injected them into this duck. Rather than becoming highly intelligent, the duck garnered a disease more deadly than any other known on the planet. The scientists locked the duck in a cage and brought it to an underground bunker of which no disease can escape, shortly thereafter dying because of how deadly the disease was.
I had began living with my uncle once I found out that I had a brother, and that he had disappeared when I was born, and my parents had kept that a secret. I was ten when I found out. Then the nightmares started when I was twelve. They would start normal, and would then try to scare me into waking up into a cold sweat. Each dream was way more vivid than the last one, with a terrifying woman in ragged clothes talking to me towards the end of the dream, actually it was more like mumbling. I would appear in a giant plywood room, with two floors like a big wooden box. There was enough light like it was day. There was a set of metal stairs in the middle of the first floor, you could hear the clanging as you went up so no one could sneak up on you. I would walk around trying to find a way to escape but there was no exit, besides breaking a hole in the wall, which It seemed I wasn't strong enough to do. I would always go up the metal stairs to the second floor, and would then hear a lot of noises, getting louder by the second. I would always spin around to source the noises and look at the top stair. I knew that someone was walking up the metal stairs to where I was. An old woman in ragged, brown cloth would slowly appear as she climbed the stairs. And once she got to the top, she would start mumbling.
"You have been chosen for many important things my son, you, with the disease rising in your blood, you shall prevail and reclaim this land from the Wicked."
I stand there paralyzed by what just happened. And I stand there as I hear the thunder in the distance and it starts to sprinkle. My most terrifying experience started as a love story. But it wasn't one of those cliche ones. It was the most unheard of thing in the world. I met her at the laundromat. Least romantic place in the world, Right? Smelt like laundry soap and was warm as hell. But she worked there and I fell in love with her through the window.
Simon's standing at the edge of the field. He's telling me it's time to go, which is funny because I swear his mouth isn't moving. I get up and walk over to him. He's smiling like he used to, I'm trying to remember why he stopped smiled like that, but I can't quite remember it's like something is blocking it from my memory. It's 3:16. I know that's significant, but right now I'm not sure why. In a minute something is going to happen. I'm going to reach him and something bad is going to happen. I don't want to step forward. Dread is filling me as I take a step and another step. The minute has passed, and I'm here and nothing is happening but at the same time something is. He opens his mouth to say something, but before he does, everything goes black.
